that monster may seem different and crazy from afar, but as we get to know them, they can become cuddly friends! The students used monsters to graph, collect data, count, recognize shapes, colour and sizes, build 2D and 3D creations and start making connections between letters and sounds. It is so impressive to witness the daily learning that exists in our classroom – your children are growing and changing each and every day!
The students participated in skateboard demonstration and lesson put on by the team at the Boarderline here in Lethbridge. All students were completely engaged in the entire activity and were so inspired by the performance. Bravo tout le monde et merci au Boarderline !
Tomorrow, Monday, June 10th 2013, we will have a visit from a Storyteller. This special activity will help students as we will focus on identifying the beginning, middle and end of stories for the next two weeks.
Wednesday, June12th 2013, the students must bring a teddy bear that they can part with overnight to attend our classroom Teddy Bear Picnic and Sleepover.
This is the final week of the Home Reading Program. I hope it has proven enjoyable and beneficial for your family. Please return your completed work and all other contents of the package by Monday, June 17th 2013.
